For 2016 the Bro Bug® Jig has been graced with a slick new pointed head design and bigger buggy eyes. The hydrodynamic profile better slices through the water for improved gliding and swimming locomotions, while the buggier visage ups its eye appeal to portly perch, sunfish, and crappies. Available in 1/72- and 1/64-ounce sizes, the horizontal-hanging jig also features a 90-degree hook with a wire keeper.
Not to be outdone, the Mud Bug Jig also sports new enlarged bug-like peepers, plus a splash of sparkly Fishscale Glitter and bead on the stern for extra glow. Available in 1/72-, 1/64- and 1/32-ounce sizes, the thickset jig imitates larvae hatching from muddy bottoms and has a 60-degree, fine-wire hook that allows persnickety, upward-feeding panfish to inspect the presentation before striking.
The appropriately named Gill-Getter® also flashes flecks of new Fishscale Glitter and features larger, buggier eyes. Thanks to its flat, wide profile, this serial sunfish slayer shows up great on sonar. Look for it in 1/72-, 1/64- and 1/32-ounce sizes.
