Thankfully, Northland engineers and pro staff collaborated to end storage headaches with the two-piece Fire-Tip series, which includes five models ranging from 36 to 48 inches in length and actions from ultra-light to medium-heavy.
“Built from solid carbon graphite, the new Fire-Tip series has the right actions and backbone to handle anything from panfish to lake trout and everything in between,” says Glorvigen. “Their blank-through-handle design is extremely sensitive, while the rubber cork handles are easy to grip in all conditions.”
Added amenities include a lock-down reel seat, high-visibility tip, and premium guides that work with braid and mono. As a bonus, each rod comes with a protective sleeve. Fire-Tip Rods are also available as a combo, paired with a 5-ball-bearing spinning reel featuring instant anti-reverse, a metal spool, and a foldable handle.
