Shantel Wittstruck, from Sioux Falls, SD, a Member of South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited, a wife and a mother of two is an outdoor enthusiast. She had a pole in her hand as soon as she was able to walk, fishing often with her parents and grandparents. Growing up in the heart of it all, Shantel spends a lot of time out on the Missouri River, Lakes, and Sloughs fishing for Walleyes, Pikes, Crappies, Bluegills, and Sunfish; fishing SD, ND, MN, IA, Canada, and any other place where an opportunity to get her line wet presents itself. She enjoys writing and sharing her passion and experiences for the outdoors with the world. She works for Midwest Hunting and Fishing Magazine as a Marketing and Sales Key Account Executive Lead and Free Lance Writer. When she can squeeze a morning or afternoon in at the bait shop, Shantel can be found scooping up minnows and sharing the latest hot tips at Dakota Angler. Shantel grabs hold of any opportunity to educate and share with others her passion for the outdoors.
