HEADS, YOU WIN!
NORTHLAND’S NEW MINNOW-HEAD HOOK
HOLDS NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL TIPPINGS, BOOSTS ACTION AND HOOK SETTING SUCCESS

Bemidji, Minn.—Terminal tackle rarely grabs headlines, but Northland’s new Minnow-Head Hook merits front-page accolades for elevating the art of jigging spoon tipping from hit-and-miss frustration to foolproof science.

Uniquely designed for dressing jigging spoons with either a baitfish noggin or manmade scented softbait, the new Minnow-Head Hook couples a razor-sharp, custom treble hook with an elongated and infinitely clever Quick Snap connector.

“It’s simple to use and oh, so deadly,” says Team Northland® spoon dancer extraordinaire Chip Leer. “Release the snap from your spoon by twisting it 90 degrees. Thread a minnow head (mouth-first) or IMPULSE® soft-plastic onto the attachment device and down the hook shank, then fasten it back to the spoon.

“The Minnow-Head Hook offers multiple benefits,” Leer continues. “First, it adds great pendulum action to the tipping, which often seals the deal with finicky fish. Plus, because the hook swings freely like a miniature dropper, it’s easier for light-biting fish to inhale. Finally, it holds bait securely, so you don’t have to re-bait as often. And when a fish hits and misses, you can be sure your spoon’s tipping trigger is still there—ready for the fish to swing around for a second swipe.”

Northland Minnow-Head Hooks are available in #12 through #6 treble hook sizes, in black-nickel and red colorations. MSRP is $4.19 per three.
