Shantel Wittstruck

Shantel Wittstruck, from Sioux Falls, SD, a Member of South Dakota Walleyes Unlimited, a wife and a mother of two is an outdoor enthusiast. She had a pole in her hand as soon as she was able to walk, fishing often with her parents and grandparents. Growing up in the heart of it all, Shantel spends a lot of time out on the Missouri River, Lakes and Sloughs fishing for Walleyes, Pikes, Crappies, Bluegills and Sunfish; fishing SD, ND, MN, IA, Canada and any other place where an opportunity to get her line wet presents itself. She enjoys writing, sharing her passion and experiences for the outdoors with the world. She works for Midwest Hunting and Fishing Magazine as a Marketing and Sales Key Account Executive Lead and Free Lance Writer. When she can squeeze a morning or afternoon in at the bait shop, Shantel can be found scooping up minnows and sharing the latest hot tips at Dakota Angler. Shantel grabs hold of any opportunity to educate and share with others her passion for the outdoors. She will be the first to tell you that one of the best things about being an angler is that you can never know to much as long as you are willing to learn. There are many ways of fishing and so many different products out there in the market place…There is never a right way or a wrong way…Never a better way, just another way. Educate and Share. There are no limits. That is what true passionate anglers like Shantel do. She is excited to be part of the Northland Tackle Pro Staff Team!
